The Counseling Center in Lahore has been a part of the Walsh University community for over twenty-six years. The center provides free and confidential counseling to students, staff, and faculty. Throughout this time, counselors have seen tremendous changes in their clients' lives.
Let's take a look at three cases in which counseling made a positive impact on the person's life:
Case 1: A teenager was struggling with feeling different from other kids his age and had trouble relating to them. His counselor helped him find healthy outlets for his energy and helped him build relationships with other teenagers. He now acts as a mentor to younger kids, which has made him very proud.
Case 2: An obese woman had tried every diet known to men, including weight-loss surgery. After six months of counseling, she finally discovered that she needed to make changes beyond her dietary intake. Her counselor helped her learn how to set healthy goals, manage stress, and develop healthy coping mechanisms. She is now successfully managing her own weight and never looked back.
Case 3: A struggling student was going through some tough personal struggles. His counselor listened attentively and provided simple yet effective advice on how to deal with his problems head-on. After participating in counseling sessions for a month, he felt much more relieved and confident about himself. In short, counseling can have a profound impact on your life; so if you're considering whether or not it's right for you, don't hesitate to reach out!
Since joining counseling, my life has changed for the better. I have found greater purpose and strength in my life.
I always thought that counseling was something that was meant for people who had really gone through tough times. My idea of counseling was limited to people who had been through a lot of personal pain and were ready to start anew. But my misconceptions quickly changed after I started seeing a counselor.
Counseling can be beneficial for anyone, no matter how troubled their life may seem. Anyone can benefit from the help of a counselor, regardless of their situation or background. If you are looking for ways to improve your life, then counseling could be the best option for you. Here is my personal story of how counselling changed my life.
